Are You Ready to Launch Your Writing Project?
Join us next week for a month of accountability, growth, inspiration, and community.
Tell me you’re a writer in January without telling me you’re a writer in January.
I’ve been in a creativity slump and I am ready to climb out.
I am equal parts motivated and stuck.
I’m ready to commit to my goals but I feel paralyzed and overwhelmed.
My inbox is full of “new year challenges” and conferences and seminars, but nothing feels quite right.
January gives us the promise of a new beginning, and whether or not it’s all in our head, it often feels like the perfect opportunity to commit to new projects and habits and also to ourselves as writers.
One of the hardest parts of being a writer is the innate struggle of balancing creativity and discipline. To be a writer is to somehow make space for both creative flow and organization. Often, we have one in spades at the expense of the other.
After over a decade of facilitating writing workshops for women, we think the key to success is to tap into the love and joy of writing while also finding tools to plan ahead, set goals, structure your time, and hold yourself accountable. That combination is no small feat, but we think it’s definitely do-able, given the right conditions.
Enter the HerStories Project Incubator
This month-long intensive is just for midlife women who are starting new writing projects in 2025. Thirty days of speakers and workshops, co-working, assignments and lessons, starting January 13th.
Whether your new project is a writing a novel, starting a Substack column, pitching an essay a month, or creating a writing practice to stick to, this is an opportunity to gain the skills you need to push through obstacles.

I’m late to the party on this and new to Substack. However, I’ve decided that 2025 is going to be the year I go from wannabe writer to working writer. I would love to join one of these incubators if there is a way to work it out!
